Hi, I'm Adrian, 18, student, you'l probably work out the rest, great forum here, Iv been reading threads from it for a long time and am very impressed with the projects going on!
Heres one of my project, another Imp!
Plans for it are quite simply, weld up and repair the body (its in a pretty bad state) the wide arches, wide wheels, serious slammage, rattle can the rough bits, and then just cruise....
When bored of just cruising, coz I imagine the standard engine with wide wheels wont be very fast or powerful, maybe then il think about a bigger/more powerful engine.
My day to day run around, sadly I don't have a nice picture of, Iv only got this one pic atm, which the seller took, and to be honest, it looks naff. But I promise you it looks nicer now! Iv put clear indicators and side repeaters on, and a set of 13 inch BBS alloys I picked up cheap.
This is the vehicle where the power is, well, the power to weight is! Its a 1993 Cagiva Mito 125, mk 2. Italian import that I picked up for a hundred quid and rebuilt. Totally standard and beleive it or not, will get to a ton no problem! No restrictions in Italy see, well not at its time of production
(Iv since re-covered the rear seat black, got some purple lenses for the headlights, and now wear the black leathers to go with the jacket, to finish the look off nicely)
This Trike I'm building maybe of interest to some of you guys, A level project, not quite finished due to running out of time. Il start a thread in the appropriate part of the forum about it, I could really do with some ideas and from the BMX and cruiser projects Iv seen on here, this seems like the place! A quick breif of the trike, A fun form of transport for 2 people, the driver/controller sits on the right, and the other person sits on the left, both people pedal. The reason for its creation is I have a blind brother, who has never been able to properly enjoy loads of stuff I take for granted and will never be able to ride a bike.
Heres a pic, Iv tried to make it look retro with my design, and I think (hope) it will look pretty classy when complete.
Anyway if you read this thanks! I just hope I can return something interesting to a site thats interested me for hours
