i swapped this for the 205 and grace bagged it as for some reason she loves mk4 escorts , anyhoo its a 1.6 ghia totally standard (was)  after giving a knock with the lowering stick it sits at a better height and doesnt roll so much (ghia suspension :lol: )ive changed the tyres on the back as the ones on there were bloody lethal and slid very easily , this is a before pic ill get some after pics at the weekend ,i cut a coil and a half out the back and 2 coils out the front   and this is what i chased luke skywalker in  |

if yours is standard it will come with the 1.4 carb and exhaust system i upgraded mine to the mk2 xr2 twin choke weber and put a ashley 4 branch and exhaust system on it and its pretty fast pulls well upto 130mph on private race tracks and 17 second quater miles |

ive got a xr2 carb coming and i need a road trip to collect my four branch for it ,its nice to know that they make a big improvement a mates got a xr3i i can scavenge for parts as i think the suspension is not really up to spirited driving so the plan is to rob it of all the shocks springs arbs and brakes and weigh the rest in |

the arb setup is identical on all models apart from the rear of the rst it will probs have the same motorcraft shockers on aswell only the springs will differ it should have the same brakes too mine did but it was originally a auto worth checking out tho |
