djmatt took on board what youve said.thanks anyway after having to wait a bit for some laser cut bits i chopped someone elses moggie ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/minor1016.jpg) which is now done ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture020-2.jpg) and managed to get another project in to be blasted then i epoxy primered it so it wont rust over winter. makes a good ornament and the wive didnt even blink when she walked past it ;D ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture021-2.jpg) back on the mini front of exhaust ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture005.jpg) custom made silencers and the brackets to hold them on ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture013.jpg) rear using the same brackets and going through the holes in the chassis ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture018-1.jpg) and how they come out over the rear tubing ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture012.jpg) just got to do the end bits and get them out the body. made two stainless air tanks as well. these sit under the drivers and passenger foot area. these were made because of lack of room in the rear for a normal tank, along with the exhaust its all hiden in the depth of the chassis so not on show from the side. ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa296/v8trabant/Picture008.jpg) wayne

Its a real shame that most of this work wont be seen once the body panels are on and its finished. The car will be great, but the engineering and fabrication under the skin are the most impressive part imo.

Love the "forward" thinking on the headers...... Good choice of bags too Re6's ?? Scrape blocks or are you going hard core and draggin the chassis?? Awesome work Nobody keep it up man..................... bags are slam specialities i believe. it will have blocks underneath just to protect the chassis when parked up. no draggin the chassis on this car. its all for looks when parked up

Amazing detailed work never gets missed when you really look at a car. Stunning work always check your updates even if I haven't got a clue what you are on about ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Reckon your front spring rates might be a bit off though....

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

This is an absolutely amazing build, your design for the air tanks is truly inovative and a work of art. Look forward to seeing this and many more build threads from yourself. Are you doing the moggy chassis or has it now been taken away? Just ask as looks rather familiar to one i know of. Keep up the stunning inspirational work.

Wowzers... I saw this at the start and havn't been back to look since.... My god, some fantastic work there! top marks! do you plan to make anything for yourself after this is done? thanks yes i have a couple of future projects. once the minis in paint and i start the final assembly i have a very trick scooter to finish at the same time for myself. i wont be doing any fabrication work during final assembly because its easier to keep everything clean and fresh that way.nothing worse than grinding dust on fresh paint. once the minor starts ill prob start my wives beetle for her. that way if I'm waiting for bits for the moggie i can do stuff on the beetle. beetle specs are roof chop. a very trick tube chassis running full independant suspension and a vauxhaull v6 and auto box up front. this will be a nice winter car for us to potter around in. hopefully as she,s doing a year at college doing sewing ect ,she will do her own upholstery.that way i can keep the whole build at home without farming anything but laser cutting out. our lad does all the machining for the cars. then I'm gonna build probably my final project(50,s wartburg).it will be different but i don't think i could ever top it so its better to quit when youre ahead, lol. may take on a few for others but no run of the mill curse word stuff.ie dull hotrods or the like ;D ;D
