Well here is yet another car to my fleet, my bargain buy VW Vento 2.0GL that I bought through Ebay on Sunday. Its a 1996 N plate with 80000 miles, in very good condition, taxed end of Jan and tested until August, has electric windows, remote central locking, alarm, power steering, electric sunroof etc, i'm not used to all these mod cons. It has a bit of damage to the rear where the previous owner reversed into a post.        I've managed to find a rear bumper (in the same colour) for £18, just need to find a bootlid. Anyway for what it is I think I got a bargain, its a lot of car for £150 and it was only 10 minutes walk from home. |

Nice, shame about the dent in the back, I contemplated a VR6 version a while back, but they're rare as poor quality wobbly children's play pony' manual VR6 versions even rarer and a decent manual one almost impossible to find!

I've found a bumper in the same colour for £18 and possibly a boot lid as well, i've managed to pull the back panel straight, might see if the bumper will push out.

slam steels spoiler bin - sorted  Mines more battered than yours though   Pre-accident:  And after i'd reversed into a 10foot bright yellow post with the word 'ramp' on it  :  Same, as i'd just got it mint too. Can look good with a few subtle mods. Good luck with it. |
