this is my dads 1977 1500 midget. I don't know full specs, but if you are interested then ask cos he originally built this for hillclimbing

I like that colour on MG's so much that I decided to paint my wooden boat in that colour and name it "Primrose" :-) Nice Midget indeed.

Well, this is a funny story. over 12 years later I just so happened to come back across this forum and read my previous posts. I used to spend hours on here! I would have been 14 at the time of this post! Sadly dad sold on this car in 2011 to buy an MGB GT. However, 2019 I was scouring Ebay as you do and would you believe it. XJX 580R popped up! I spoke with the owner who bought it from my dad and put a deal together. I bought the thing back. See Below images when I collected it in 2019 (hadn't changed a bit, still has all my dads tools left in it & redline magazine harness pads I fitted) & then how it sits today, debumpered & a little more reliable than it was.
