Cheers, I have some new springs to go on though. Rears are standard ride height heavy duty & fronts are -1.5" so should sit about the same, maybe lower at the front but loose the wallow!

Gotta get a three-door... gotta... gotta get... gotta get a three door... gotta sell Avenger... gotta... gotta get a three door... gotta get...
It seems that you have driven me insane. And to think I turned down a Cortina 3-door and bought an Avenger because it 'handled better'. I must have been blind or something.

What happened to the D1s? Or are they Cosmics? They're D1's, I sold 'em on ebay.... £50 with new tyres but the guy did give me a 1 piece prop so nat all bad! Wish I'd kept 'em now as they'd be ideal for my Anglia... And to think I turned down a Cortina 3-door and bought an Avenger because it 'handled better'. I must have been blind or something. haha! My 'tina handles great (if you like looking at the middle of roundabouts & occasionaly the front of the car following you!)

I had two two door MKIIIs about 18 years ago. One got scrapped because it was unbelievanly rusty and it only cost me a car stereo and the other did a load of work on but gave it away when another project came along. Then the bloke I gave it to put an engine in it then sold it for £40!! It'd be worth a fortune now!! The latter was MOE 664P anyone come across it?

Acording to DVLA its not been on the road since 1989 so likely scrapped Oh, that'll be when I bought it then. The previous owner had crashed it into a stationary object and consequently sold the car to me for next to nothing. I straightened it out and did a shed load of welding work on it then, as I say gave it away about two years later.
