White spirit on a vast collection of rags works wonders on the tar residue. Glad the 'DTM' zorst found its way to the bin.

Cheers guys. I'll try the white spirit on the mess from the tar! Looks much better than my last one though would much rather have a tarry floor than no floor like my old 1.8s! ;D

Right guys time for a quick update. Unfortunately not going to be able to work on the manta for a wee while. Was out at a friends party on sat night slipped on black ice and went over a low wall that led to a 14ft drop into a river! Was very lucky and only suffered a broken wrist. Hit it on a steel pipe on way down. Unfortunately this now leaves me off work temporarily (have to get an opp to straighten my wrist and 2 pins put in) And unable to work on my car. In the meantime heres a pic courtesy of my mate chris and photoshop ;D of how i'd like the manta to look. Hes dropped it a wee bit and put the 6 spokes on. Thinking 6 spoke white compomotives are the way to go. Opinions please.

Bloody hell, bad luck mate! The compos look nice on the Manta I think the slight colour differences make it looks real nice.
