Off to the Battlesbridge show in Essex tomorrow, was there today for a photoshoot with the bus, and to buy and collect some large bits for the Teardrop trailer I am building. Last pic of the Bus with its 1500cc, 55bhp motor, unless there is a seriously nice photo opportunity tomorrow. After this is will be in Edd's capable hands over winter for a 1800cc Zetec conversion, and hpefully also 12Volt at the same time . Photo I took on the banks of the Thames river, with paddle steamer puffing off into the distance.

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

Well, as Totti said above, he is looking forward to the development of the Zetec conversion, and hopefully an easy and successfull instalation by Edd. (BodieandDoyle) The Bus has been delivered to Edd's place on the farm, and the last thing I saw were the 2 doors to Edd's workshop shutting behind it, followed by a quick peek into the other store and a pic of the donor, waiting, mouth agape in anticipation of having the life pulled from it to save another life. From here, all updates should be slow, but I hope Edd will update as things evolve. Getting a FWD Zetec into the space and converting to RWD cannot be the easiest thing, but I believe he knows where he is headed already. Donor awaiting.

the last thing I saw were the 2 doors to Edd's workshop shutting behind it you mean this veiw? I'm no good at keeping threads updated but I will try, I promise! I had a little while on the bus tonight and some small semblence of progress is being made. best thing with a van is all that lovely storage space I made a special tool, since its possible I won't have much help getting the engine out. it must be dropped out the bottom and i don't fancy having it drop on me off a few choice planks and heath-robinson wedges from a few feet up so I started with this old bmw prop rear half. taking good care of the van whilst all this grinding is going on was a big priority. thats all I wanted, the 30mm shaft and yoke. which happens to fit..... my trolley jack! one special taunus engine removal trolley ;D theres some small stuff going on under here too. thats about it for 1.5 fun filled hours of listening to the Joe bonamassa show
