£35 later, and I have a set of new glass with new rubber seals, and blue dot insert replicas.  Imagine them blended into the rear light spaces with the originals welded up somewhat.  |

Nice Van Grizz! - looks a bit like mine I hope you get it finished at some point, but working outside is never ideal (tried that many times). I read somewhere you where planning to get it inside - how is that coming along? Your wheels a super nice, and those spacers look awesome - quality german stuff!! I do hope you keep the original rear lights though! |

Well, looks like summer is kinda on its way. Have been poorly, and busy the last few weeks, before which my excuse was WINTER. Started on a job today, sanding down the repairs to the gutters and a few other spots on the bus, and re-primered them. Also tried to start the bus, but batteries were dead.... so will order a new 6volt next week. Then it has to be full steam ahead toward getting the old girl on the road. Ms Grizz was very handy with the camera while she was meant to be cleaning/dusting my house ;D First pic gives you an idea of the rust that has developed while the bus has been covered over..... thank goodness for covers.   Done, and drying before I pulled the tape off.  |

Good work Rian - attack that rust! Nice to see a shot from above - never seen that before. Made me imagíne a black folding roof, and how cool that would look on it. shorts and sandals?  I´m still freezing in my winter jacket ;D |

Nice work Dude - I was beginning to think that you just had a giant tarp in the shape of an FK! Good to see you getting stuck in. Can't wait to see some more work on the 'battlebus'.....gonna rock once it's painted. Say Hi to Ms Grizz from me & she (sends her love to you as well) shorts and sandals?
