In the Daily Mail motoring section today:
"A classic British car of yesteryear- the Hillman Hunter-has finaly reached the end of the road after 40 years. Built in Britain during the Sixties-470,000 were produced-the car continued it's life in Iran when knock-down-kit's from Peugeot's Ryton plant in Coventry were sent out to be reassembled as the Paykan. During the eighties after the Iranian revoluvtion, there were problems with the payments, which formed part of a troublesome oil-for-cars barter deal. Popular with taxi-drivers but a bit of a joke with motorists-production in Iran is to end this month as low-cost models take over.

Ya learn something new every day.
Rest in peace Hillman Hunter.
