Hi there Ryan, nice build video. Don`t narrow your axle, get a MK1 cortina or Corsair one, 51 and a half inches from drum face to drum face. Thats what i`m puttin` on mine (when i get a round to it) with 15"x7J banded steels. My Pops on the road now. Should be selling it but having to much fun with it! you`ll have to let me know when the The Griffin`s back on Cheers Barry can someone please tell me how you put pictures on here!!!

can someone please tell me how you put pictures on here!!! 1. Go to photobucket.com and open an account/set up an album. 2. Upload your photos from your computer to your photobucket album. 3. In your album each photo has 4 links attached to it, click on the 4th link and it will automatically be copied 4. Go to your post and paste the link in. 5. The image will then appear in the post wherever you pasted it. NB. If you re-organise your album you will lose the links and the pictures will disappear from the posts, so make sure the pictures are where you want them to be in your album before attching them to posts.

...if you do not mind me asking...how easy did the Essex go in..? ...only I am starting on my Mk2 zodiac this Spring/Summer and getting spares for the standard straight six is a bit of a nightmare and a 302 is out of my budget range for a while...soooo a V6 is an option... ...also does anyone know if it would "mate" to my original auto box, or would I have to transplant another one in there... ...also what how does it run with the Essex in there...? Comfortable cruisin' speeds...kind of thing...? ...many thanks... Swampy

Hi swampy If you still have the steering box you would need to use a v6 with a rear sump from and mk3/4 zodiac, mk2 cortina or early scimitar pre 74 i think. this should fit in your zodiac very easy as the front end is longer. You should be abel to mate it up to the box with the correct bell housing. if not the box from the essex can be fitted with not to much work. My car cruises very well on the motorway and pulls very well around town. It depends on what suspension set up you use weather its comfortable. if your using the same setup it will drive the same as it is now. If it was me i would fit a Rover V8 in there as you have the room to do so Cheers Ryan
