Can't see the marina pic but that's a steal.... There's not many bargain Marinas left... People seem to think They're worth something these days ! Welcome V6 Pop - people like marinas round here

That marina is class! Super early one too. 1.3 or 1.8? Its a 1.3,as I said my mate found it for me and at first I wasnt that interested in owning one(I'm a Ford man really) but he made the effort to arrange a viewing so I went along thinking it will be a rot box as it had been laid up for some years. When they opened the garage and I saw the alleycat wheels I thought,ok good start, and when I looked underneath it is rock solid!!It needs no welding anywhere!?! Cant believe it myself but it makes a nice change just to concentrate on the mechanical parts. It needed the brakes overhauled as they started leaking and binding and the rear exhaust box had fallen apart. Makes a change from what I had been building over the last 4 years(Ford Model A Pickup),which I sold recently, everything on that being one off or modified so this is much easier on the brain!

Nice to see all the bakelite trimmings still in the Pop I paid the same sum for an 1800 TC coupe a few years ago and will now get collered for telling everyone it was a good car from which I swiped the engine and scrapped most of the rest

We forgive you Seth. I'm sure it was an act of sheer desperation... Wrecked two or five myself - but most of the bits have been recycled into other Marinas - and those that havn't are awaiting recipes for more lunacy... Excellent Coupe there V6pop - hard to believe you can still find rust-free examples in the UK..! I am used to finding pretty good units over here in NZ - but the asking price is beginning to escalate. Just bought this for NZ$1045. Didn't know until collecting it, that it had with it NZ$12,250 worth of receipts..!!! Gawd. PO might have been a tad excessive..? Suits me though..
