Lets clear up car terms:
"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

That looks like an excellent base for a project, nice one!
I like Daveyboys idea of blue, that would look pretty smart. I'd like to see silver in there too, reckon that would look nice against the Marroon and Chrome, especially with some nice alloys in the same silver.

the interior:   and not forgetting the other one which needs more work but i cant be beatten...  dosent look that bad until you get under the skin! ask perry! and the project bike...  fzr1000 89' thunderace engine forks swingarm r1 seat unit random extra stuff that i had lying around lol too many projects and not enough time with my apprenticeship! ;D |

Judging by the chrome and the rear wing emblem, is that a Super?
My Dad had a Super - it was very pale grey, almost like primer. Red vinyl interior too. MYH 528D was the plate.
Those door trims were always bloody falling off.

yeah the marron ones a super the white ones a duluxe i think mine look like there about to fall off but its been stood like 17 years and all it needs is a strut top to be put on the road.... we want a bit more than that though AEW 706A = andy's excitement wagon 7/06 (my birthday) awesome .... now thats a reg! |

nice project andy brings back fond memories for me. I had one exaxtly the same, (reg was 2418 tj ) it was my first car but the rot got to it so reshelled it in to gkb 484d I painted it with rattle cans and got a mexico engine a set of rostyles and had some fun in it until it dropped a valve. I may have a pictue somewhere looking well younger..ill dig it out so the old 1500 went back in until I scraped it and bought a mk3 cortina  |

awesome... you just can't beat cortinas... i just want to work on mine just don't know where to start lol and i have 6 months till I'm 17 to do it in! better than a modern car though anyday!
