hi I am new to the site
this is my vauxhall nova saloon
I got it about a year ago with only 26,000 miles on the clock,
since then I have done a few things to it
first of all I put a set off spax rsx coilovers on and droped her on the standard 13" rims.
I killed the tyres with the silly camber it was sitting at so I went out and got a set of eheels off my mate.
a sweet set of clio phase1 16v wheels
at the same time the car was in and out the body shop for little things, at the time this was my only car.
then the car got pinched, and when I got it back I decided it was time for a new engine. so me and father went to birmingham to pick up a gte engine, with piper cam and 4 branch.
and then it starts
me and my mate neil ripped the engine out in about 3 min so quick I didnt have time to take any pictures with the 1.2 engine in lol
I couldnt beleive how clean the engine bay was for a 24 year old car
so the engine slipped in like a well fitted glove
on when the brakes
I went for the normal ex brakes

as I was doing all of this I went and got some other little bits
all the chrome bits I got made by a nice bloke called clive (he will make any thing you want at a good price pm me for a number)
the car and engine bay look like this now
need to put my webber 40's on and then I will be sorted

My first car was a 4door saloon & I have many happy memories of it. Its funny how the earlier cars resisted rust so much better than the later ones? - my sister also had a 4door saloon but it was a later (K reg) one but it literally dissolved in front of our eyes where as my 88' F reg one (with the minor facelift grill, but still with the big lights/small bumpers) Was still in pretty good shape
