:)We collected the car I bought on ebay today, an E reg 120L5 in Popular Green from Suffolk. It cost me £52. When we got back to the garage we put some fuel in the tank, checked the oil, clipped on a jump pack and attempted to start her. Alas, the engine had siezed. Undeterred by such a minor detail I managed to make it move, ableit tightly with a 30mm socket and bar. It still wasn't free enough to turn over by the starter though so I clicked the switch on the jump pack to 24 volts! Not really advisable, but I thought well, sh1t or bust it'll either go or it won't! It started after a few seconds, so we removed the jump pack, warmed it through and the lovely little engine purrs like a kitten. Admittidly most kittens don't have rattly timing chains, but never mind eh!
The upper bodywork isn't bad, but it does need new inner and outer sills/box sections ect.
Once again, I can't promise it'll be done quickly, but it will be done and while I have pocession of it I know it won't be scrapped or broken for spares.
I'll be taking pics as soon as possible.
