well it sounds better than it is. it could have been in better condition as u can see from the pics of rust lol
where chevettes usually go bad mine was fine and where their ok mine was a bit rubbish
all in all it was ok for £300 seeing as escorts were £2000 for a pile of rust

That's where i was lucky. Only put 3 patches in one wing and 2 in the other and that was it for rust repairs, bloomin miracle for a Chevette. Paid £350 for mine What colour are you painting yours, is it staying stock? |

its going vauxhall steel grey. i got the idea from my dads phone lol hes got a samsung d500 and its light and dark grey so i htought id have grey car and dark grey wheels  |

after another 6 hours of sanding today I finally got it in primer, and went home for lunch than thought f@ck it ill go for it and came back to do the aqua bourne colour and heres some pics  there she is in primer  and a whole car pic  then........ I got some grey on it engine bay pic  bear in mind theres no clear coat yet ill giv it three coats of that ;D   I'm chuffed with the colour and I'm itching to get clear coat on it now |

oh yeh and the roof isnt done either lol incase u were wondering lol
the instructions said i need two coats of the colour and i ran out
with the roof left to do so i thought the second time round i would
spray the roof first and last after the rest of the body.

i went over the shed tonight and gave the car the final coat and heres hos it looks i hope these pics are smaller, they're from my phone    there is small imperfections and dust settled on it which is a bit of a sh1t but I'm well happy with the colour and the shine |

I got to thinking today and I think id rather put 15inch alloys on it, rather than get the half shafts machined down to take nove discs. well I was actually gonna use chevette standard front
ones but their the same tho. iv got a pair of siera discs that wont fit in the 13's but would be fine with a bigger wheel.
what alloys could I put on?? HELP.....
the pcd is 101 isnt it that limits my options some what lol
