once again, t'other half went out and bought a very silly car. she mentioned that she wouldn't mind another 5-series like the one I swapped for my 'tina. no worries thought i, a lovelly 2.0 six would be just the thing for going to the shops.
then she bought this.
looks fairly standard yes? hah, v8 225bhp, 140mph top end, manual with lsd, full dechrome "stealth" pack from new, 100k with full history, fully rebuilt mechanically, leather, air-con etc etc.
£1000 (!!!!!) I defy anyone to pick up a mint yank-tank for that much!
and yes it does do very very good burnouts, and it also sounds better since she forced me to unbolt the exhausts and run it with a 1/4" gap between the cats and centre boxes. ;D ;D
