Sorry mate but no chance, those´ll be the first things I rip off when I get started... ;D Buy yourself a Capri and you can have mine... ;D ii'll be getting one eventually so if u don't mind hanging onto em for a while ill take u up on that OB. I´ll put them to the side, give me a shout when you`ve got the car to match! ;D Is it just me or....does that fuel line out the bottom of the extended tank look VERY vulnerable? Think you might be right there mate, if I can get it up and running at the weekend i´ll have to knock up a guard of some sorts methinks! ;D

WOW that is all I can say I was made aware of this project by Grizz, a few months ago ( he registered on a forum where I moderate www.stationaryengine.org.uk/forum/). And I am ashamed to say I have left it this late to leave a comment . I am more of a comfortable car that don't break down motorist myself so Modified retro rides is not realy my kind of thing . BUT !! Your van is bloody awesome . And To watch it come alive is something I am looking forward to The skill and dedication is second to none and I wish you nothing but success in your project . Keep up the good work Steve p.s Grizz how is that J.A.P coming on

Hallo Steve, and welcome to the site. Firstly, look at the "Readers other modifications " part of the site, and post a bit about your engines. I sent you a pM, but just to mention, I have done little since getting the J, as I have a girl who keeps me quite busy at the moment. And , yes, agreed, Dave is a whizz with all this engineering and manufacturing. Welcome aboard ..oh and there are some rather tasty original (comfy) Retros on here if you have a look through the Readers rides section. and if you hang around here long enough i´m sure you´ll get the bug. ;D

Though the fuel pipe is vulnerable, many street rods seem to have them like that with no problems, so I guess its a matter of proportion. I agree its nicer to have them protected though.

...looks like we´re going to make Classic Ford!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Massive thanks to Mike for helping me this weekend, we had loads of problems that needed sorting (more of that tomorrow) and it definately wouldn´t have happened without him!!! I´ll need to add a bit more exhaust and will have to be very carefull with the accelerator until i get the brakes sorted, as this thing is lethal....!!!

You are a legend I agree. And it's amazing skills and all that.
But please get bigger brakes before driving or put a very large chunk of wood under your accelerator pedal, you might not only kill yourself otherwise.
Still amazing job in so little time!
