My personal fave ADO16 is the bright orange GT parked next to it though!

really cool car, I had one of those in 1979, it was my second car. came to a messy end, head on with a transit. never a good thing. as ed325i asked, wheres the twin su's? after mine died the twin carbs went on my moggy pick-up.

Hear hear, a big 1.75" HIF is in many ways better than a pair of 1.25" SUs, which is why I donated my (funnily enough) ex-Wolseley 1300 twin SUs for my brother's Mini and put an MG Metro HIF on my Midget-engined Minor Traveller.

yes 1.75" hif carb is spot on, runs superb with good fuel economy and overall spot on performance and goes very well too so I'm happy, has lots of other mods like inertia starter, oil cooler, brake servo, mini steering coluom n stalks with mountney steering wheel, metro twin pipe and manifold with rc40 silencer, metro front seats, rear seatbelts, rear wiper conversion, rear fogs, flaps, metro front wheel arch liners, rare alloys, retro vinyl roof, n gt gutter trims, lots of electric extras like heater, hazards, mini brake reservoir warning light, full ice install, volts, rev, temp gauges etc....
loads more too but cant think at the minute!
