it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Yeah, or a curse word old 1.1 effort! Left mine in the City centre on a street last evening, minimal worries. Said to GF, if its smashed in when we get back we are matt blacking the fugger! it wasn't! Whats it do on petrol, is it really that bad?

after all that work - keep it, knock the insurance down to minimal mileage to lower overheads, and get a little runaround (309 diesels are dirt cheap) for getting to work. You'll make very little selling it i imagine...

Suppose so,you think I could insure it on a limited mileage policy for not a lot?

i imagine so - go with a specialist (it might class as a classic, not sure), insure for limited mileage with security equipment - its worth an hr or two phoning around i'm sure.
and a little hatch are pennies to insure 3rd party

Or just sorn it for a bit until you have a bit of spare cash - spend the time polishing, tinkering, sorting the interior - all the jobs that cost next to nowt
i wish i'd kept my civic when i bought my 406 estate (MTB transporter), as it was minty, and i havnt seen one like that for that price since :-(

lol wwoooaaaahhhh!!!ok,think thats what I'm gonna do to be honest,I didn't really wanan get rid of it but cash is quite tight at the minute.I'll try find an old diesel shed lol. On a lighter note, was talking to a guy is a focus st the other night in petrol station,as I'd had a little play a couple nights before (no comments please!lol) and he wondered what was in it.Some sharver in a Zetec-s cobviosuly heard and ws giving it the whole "no way that can keep up with an ST don't be stoopid."So,despite protests from me and the nice ST man,he challenged me to a lil race.I'm no boy racer, but I don't like gobby cock people.SO i promptly accepted his offer, raced up 3 stretches of our local bypass, parked up in b&q car park, managed to let my turbo calm down enough to turn it off,and my mate rolled and lit half a fag before he got there!!!Dicked is not the word,he wasn't a happy camper!!! Just thought I'd share
