Well as some of you know I bought a sunny coupe it's a 1600cc, 1989 F reg with only 72k on the clock!! it's totally original (for now) it came with 11 months mot and 6 months tax all for £600. I'm going to use it as my daily whilst I modify it. I want it to look pretty standard, but it'll pack a punch by this time next year (hopefully)
Plans for it are:
Sort out silly problems
Ditch the yellow front fogs (toying with spot light ideas in my head)
Clear front and side indicator lenses
New wheels (on there way)
A whack with the stick (lowering job for the newbies)
Stereo install (cassette tapes just don't do it for me)
A decent exhaust and air filter
Swap to adjustable coil overs
Gti-r brakes
And eventually a power upgrade (ca18det or ca20de)
There is a 4x4 sunny (not pulsar) that has running gear to fit....(overseas market only though).......
I picked up it up yesterday (thanks for the lift mum) and bought it home. It's about 20miles from my house so I got to give it a good amount of beans on the a130 ;D overtaking was fun (bear in mind I'm used to the starion) but I'm pleased to say it behaved impeccably and happily revs right up to the 7k red line ;D
It's not without its problems though, the drivers door needs repairing properly and there is a couple of patches of surface rust here and there but I'm pleased to say it solid everywhere!! the only other problems are the fuel and temp gauge don't work, probably a bad connection it's a common fault apparently and the drivers side rear light is broken. The other stuff was cosmetic so I cracked on with those straight away ;D
So heres some pics I took of her before I done anything. I can't stress how covered in mould and cobwebs she was...
So onto a few of the cosmetic problems......I took the after pics today as it was getting dark by the time I finished yesterday. There was a few stickers in the windows I wanted shot of including the old tax disc holder. All of which had gone "flakey" cause of being in the sun, so an hour later after some "razor blading" white spirit and window cleaner it was sorted ;D

Right, now that was sorted it was off to the clean park for a good clean and hoover. Threw some car mats in her to keep the original carpets looking good. I was going to polish her today but it's raining. I took these pics anyway though
The sexy 80's interior...
The dials at night: (i love em!!)
Even the boot is clean as ;D
A sneak peak at the wheels, 16" I'm thinking anthracite with a polished rim....£80 off e-bay...
