wel qall just swaped my rx 7 for this one so going to start a build diary of it as I intend to have it low on modern wheels ,. a respray in kwakker green , and if plans come together as the A team say a 2,.0L turboed 16 valve its going to be a rolling project this one as I love the car am I am using it every day for work sod the daily hack (lol)

cheers mate your pug was a bit on the small size for me .
i have just bought off ebay a later f reg celica with t&t and going to use it as a winter hack then rip the engine etc out and brake the rest up and transplant into the 79 more modern and highly tunable 3sge power plant now i will need a gear box to put it to rear wheel drive any ideas any one.
also may run on carbs as less wiring to worry about what do you all think.

Hi Slimer  Nice looking Gen' 2. Found much rot yet? If not, you're not looking hard enough ;D If you need any parts drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch with someone who has owned and broken about 60 TA/RA Celica's. As for the 3S conversions I found this linkAlso have a trawl through the forums over on Toymods loads of technical stuff on engine swaps etc. I've been playing with my Gen' 2 for about 10 years  , so I've probably found most of the problems heading your way. Any questions let me know. |

hi mate looked at the web sites awsome i have not had a chance to have a nose around her too much yet but hit a couple of other proble i:e it over heats but i took the stst out and ordered a new one it seems ok now and no oil in it did not notice so got to look see if its leaking as it don't smoke or stink so i don't think it burning any but on the whole it seems good pm me the numbers and contact details of the breaker as need a few bits and bobs.any pics of yours and what you got under the bonnet.

Always thought these are cool in yellow - has to be a dusty looking 70's yellow though, nothing too new or shiney looking - either matt black roof OR black vinyl roof and away you go!

well the later celica 2.0L 16 valve engine swap is going on the back burner as this swap is going to be a knightmare so anyone else got any ideas i have thought nissan 200sx turbo or something like that

well just thought of another idea toyota supra 3.0L turbo 24 valve and rear wheel drive could be a good idea
