Ok, heres my other Peugeot!
Its a proper brute of a car!!
Basically its had everything done to it that I beleive is physically possible!
It started life as a 205 1.6GTi standard model!
Ive gradually gone through everything and replaced with new or upgraded.
Enginewise its been rebuilt a couple of times, but is now past it and is waiting for time for my to put my 309's old engine in it.
Current engine spec [and what will be the same for the new engine]:
Lightenned Flywheel, Strengthened Sump with baffles and splash plate, Balanced pistons and conrods, 306 2.0XSi head conversion [bigger valves] custom exhaust system, twin weber 40's [soon to be fitted with custom plenum].
Transmission:
It keeps blowing up boxes so my new replacement box is going to be stripped and uprated internally along with fitting an MI16 diff to give it move acceleration.
Suspension:
Rebuilt 205diesel rear beam [softer anti roll bars but wider track]
AVO sports evolution fully adjustable platforms up front with adjustable AVO shockers on the rear.
Brakes:
EBC greenstuff pads up front, soon to have grooved discs, dual brakes lines to the rear [from a previous disc conversion I did, but removed due to the unstability under braking, a few almost backwards through hedge moments!!]
Bodywork:
White 205automatic bonnet, reworked front grill, standard apart from that, but has a laminated perspex sunroof to reduce weight and centre of gravity.
Interior:
Hutmaster bucket seats, willans supersport harnesses, plumbed extingiusher system, flyoff handbrake, almost fully stripped.
Ok, performance figures:
Well with my complete buggered engine it managed to get 130bhp at the flywheel on the rollers, which is much more than its standard 102bhp!!
0-60 times, my best time yet was 7.8seconds, which is considerably quicker than standard and that of a 1.9GTi!
Pictures, not got that many of my 205, but heres a couple of oldish ones:
Since those photos its had the addition of the white auto bonnet!
