Brought this off eBay and went and picked it up today.
Also got these off the seller too:
Got it as my winter smoker, but when the winters gone, thinking of a bit of spring choppage and leaving as is.
Only problems with the car is that the idle is quite high, and after getting off the motorway from the trip back from Leeds a car pulled out in front of me not far from my house, I stalled the car pulling away and it wouldn't start back up again. After about a dozen turns of the key it fired up, but sounded like it was only running on 3 cylinders
Fiddled round in the dark, but the leads were on fine. Any ideas what could be wrong?
Going to have a look at the carb in a bit and see if I can turn the idle down. Don't want to mess it up though as the car was fantastic on the motorway. Was so comfortable to just cruise along.
