Just been looking for some spares for you. There´s a Lada club over here which seems pretty active. www.lada-welt.de/html/ersatzteile.htmlObviously rhd stuff will be difficult over here but if you need anything specific just give me a shout and i´ll give you a hand translating.

Great purchase My daft family have always had a soft spot for Ladas, brother had a slightly modded Riva estate, and my Dad had a horrible looking blue Riva saloon with a 2 litre Fiat twinky. ;D Spares wise I think there is an owners club which may be of help, or maybe even Lada UK www.lada.co.uk/

That estate rocks. Get yours looking half that good and you'll be laughing! Out of interest a mate had one of these years ago, in a group of RS2000's and my All-aggro, he gave the Frods a good run for their money! And RWD FTW!!

Thanks for all the comments guys, I thought i might have been making a mistake when i bought it but it looks like it might be the best car ive ever had, and the looks i get from people are priceless, every sort of look you could imagine! Picked up a mate from work in it last night and he said 'Cookie, what the F##K is THAT!?! No way am i getting in THAT!' Needless to say, he got in, laughed uncontrolably all the way home, and now wants to buy one!
That red estate on page one is QUALITY! Thats the sort of stance I'm looking for, very correct!!
You're very right there Pid, its the closest thing i could have possibly got to an A60, in fact my dad's already labled it at the 'plastic A60' lol

Plastic A60 huh?? ;D My A60 won't do that......and yes I've tried!! Apologies for the shonkiest Eastern European 'Rap' music ever. Makes Goldie looking' Chain sound like Public Enemy. As others have said, that Lada is absolutely horrible. Therefore I love it. ;D

Start as I mean to go on, loosing stuff, like bumpers. Check the wheels out! GANK! ;D Ive taken the rear bumper off as well, which was a bit of a mistake, the towing eyes are mounted on it and the sandglow maxi in the pics had a wiring loom burnout this morning Its not too bad but there was smoke everywhere! My dad had recently restored the front end of the car, new everything, were not sure what went wrong but its going to need a new wiring loom as well now. Big apoligies to dad for not being able to tow him back, luckely my uncle was able to help him out, cheers mate! I'm off work today as i had a flu jab yesterday and its made me feel like rubbish. Oh well......

Matt Lada's are 98 PCD mate, Same as Lancia, Fiats, Alfa's so they will bolt straight on.... The Ofset is 35-38mm and the centre bore is 58.5...
You could actually put on Vw, Vauxhall, Audi ect at 100 PCD, I run Vw golf wheels on my Fiat Tipo and they are ok.... darren

PWHOOOR!!! don't show me things like that mate! It made me go all a-quiver Today i went out to get some new tyres for it, but found out that 14's are cheaper than 13's, so knowing that other wheels fit (cheers dazza) is handy. I'll just see what turns up during the week. I need to get tyres on it asap before i kill myself. They are legal as far as tread goes, but i think they are original and they are ROCK hard, it locks up all four wheels in the wet even with the slightest touch on the brakes I tried to give it a t-cut and polish today but authough i can get a great shine on it it comes out in waxy sort of marks on it, so i compounded the bonnet, then t-cut it and its still doing it. I'm guessing its because of all the crud on the paint thats been there ever since it was built as its NEVER been polished. I'll get a proper mop on it at some point. Also took the cracked gutter trims off and cleaned the gutters up, and put a nice (comedy ;D) gear nob in it. The trims under the doors will be the next to come off, then ill battle on with the rust. It seems to have developed bad idleing and rough running too. Ive done plugs, oil, water, dizzy cap and arm, and put some carb cleaner in the tank. It seems to be the carb cleaner thats done it so it might just need a tune up, or the carb might be knackered, either way it doesnt seem much worse than that. Slight fuel leak at the carb too so thats a job for tomorrow. Best part of the day was when some random foregn truck driver stopped beside me when i was working on it and said ''Ha ha, Lada, its like being in 80's once more''
