Just thought I would introduce you all too the old girl  My 1981 mk1 scirocco whicj I have had for about 3 months since I sold my bay. She's the 1584 GLS model and is totally original at the moment.    |

That looks really nice, my brothers had a couple over the years but normally a bit rotten, he had a green storm once, that seemed real quick until he put it in the back of a Frontera  |

My second ever car was a 1976 1588cc GLS in Gunmetal Grey. Fabulous machine, only had it about 8 months in 1986 and sold it to a mate to fund a 1981 Audi 80GLS. He stuffed it into a lamp-post a few months later! Nob!!!

That is sweeeeeet! Love this shape of the Scirroco, always makes me think mini Audi Quattro! Not sure why. Mate of mine had one with a ridiculous bodykit on (I was living in Germany at the time!) which seemed to be the order of the day! Any plans?

Very very nice - if its the same one that was at Ultimate Dubs at the beggining of this year then it is absolutely immaculate...... I stood looking at it & fell in love  You are very lucky to own it VW certainly took a backward step when they styled the MK2 - though rust proofing was greatly improved... Edit to add; The above car cannot be yours - its an earlier model (R reg) with chrome bumpers..... yours is just as lovely though |
