Well did some more to it this weekend
Had a big boom from the stainless exhaust that was a little intrusive so I spent Saturday morning Sound deadening the entire wheel well, boot floor and back panel which has helped for sure
Emptied out the rest of the left over bits that all Project cars seem to accumulate as well ;D
Fitted the Black side repeaters, and fitted a new aerial to the front wing and then spent the next 2 hours swearing and cursing at yet another job under a Golf Dash board.......
Anything under the dash on a Mk2 is a horrible horrible job to do..... on a Syncro its made even worse because the Tunnel is higher/larger giving you less room to work
Somewhere between Engine bay and Anywhere accesable to hands under teh dash the new aerial (which was being pulled through by the old one) broke the end off so I now have an aeril fitted, but it doesnt connect to anything
Cue another bout of profanities and keeping well away from any blunt objects lest I Smash Fook out of the dash in a fit of Rage at another 2 hours wasted hands cut to ribbons from all the sharp bits behind the dash and still no bloody aerial
So I gave up an fitted the rest of the under dash trim and polished the outside instead.....
No pictures yet as is was Dark by the time I had finished on Sat and I forgot the camera yesterday
Looks good though ;D
