Next stage of my remedial works is covering all those lethal sharp edges on my guages & choke knob. For this I am fitting a perspex cover over the lot of them with access holes for the heater & trip recorder knobs.



I finished the dash cover today. I made some stand off spacer tubes (end of my long blow off gun, lol!) so the perspex is stood away from the guages. This leaves the trip recorder button 2mm proud of the perspex, so only blunt edges needed on it (which it has).
The choke & heater knobs are now behind the surface - a bit fiddly to pull out (fingers can pull them from behind the panel) but BIVA does not test how easy it is to use, only how smooth it is
All edges now radiused & polished so I think that should be a pass









Another job almost completed - the bootlid. I fitted the 'locks' today These were peices of 'z' shaped ally extrusion which handily fix on to the existing trim panel bolts, so no mods to car at all They have 6mm rivnuts fitted so the bootlid now bolts shut - more of a rear access panel now

Well curse word!! Flickr could not be more difficult to use if they tried!!! that's an hour of my life I'll never get back for just 9 photos for you lot to see.

It's not that bad once you work it out... It's just difficult to describe the process haha.
So if you've uploaded your photos, click on them in your photostream.
This will bring up a slideshow style viewer.
In the bottom right corner is an arrow pointing down, which is the download button. Click it once, and it gives you some options.
At this point, I open up the 'view all sizes' option in a new tab so I can keep sifting.
In the new tab, select the size pic that you want (I use Medium 800 for forum stuff), and right click and copy image address/copy URL whatever your browser says.
Then on RR paste that URL in to the insert image button.

Not really, but once you work it out, it's easy enough. And the free version is just as good as the pro version unless you're going to be uploading thousands upon thousands of images.
Also, you can use it for video.

Am I missing something here? All I do is drag and drop from the project folders on my laptop.

Yes, you can drop pics straight in, but then it relies on RRs bandwidth. I'd rather provide my own so to speak, so RR doesn't end up like R&S.
