Finally............. Iv'e got an old skool car, that I'm not intending to race! Luckily a work colleague found this little beast at a garage whilst he was doing a job, turns out its a 1 owner from new, 70thou mile old laser. Needs a front wing, pair of bumpers and a paint! Still MOT'd til the end of the year, for the princely sum of £150 ;D Came with the 4 spokes, and already sits low! no grot on the doors or the rear arches Just Managed to pick up another laser this week for racing, and just happens to have a good pair of bumpers on it ;D A family friend said he had an old set of alloys off his old capri that i could have, and look what turned up, with 3 new tyres, for free So lots of work to do on it, but I'm intending to stick a 2.8 v6 manual in it after ive finished using the engine for my roller in november ;D

Dez, the roller is still down bramford pit, engine is still complete, abeit missing the twin SU carbs, which i stripped off and stuck on e-bay on their behalf. The one down the pit is fire damaged, and i believe one of the lads will probably race it in November.... Unsure when it was last run up tho?

Unsure when it was last run up tho? ahh right, not the same one then. ive been eye-ing it up every time i'm down there, i think its a cool alternative v8, I'm just a bit indecisive on it as they're pretty lazy/underpowered for the size of em. i might have to make time to go and have a proper look if itll be disappearing soon.....

Street, yup just sold a carpet set that was destined for my old escort Daveyboy, iv'e got so many people watchin out for anything old for me, stuff comes up virtulally every week now. Managed to pick up another running capri for £80, abeit a little crusty. Dez, if you after something different, there is a complete V8 Yank engine going on "Ovalchat" for £250, might be worth having a look at IMO, like youv'e said, for the size of the engine in the rolls royce, and the parts cost if anything goes wrong, it would be a bit of a wast of time. The rolls on my drive is all stripped at the moment, the engine and manual box from a ford could quite easily sit in the auto tunnel, and still have the engine bay clear. Need a huge bay for a rolls engine ;D
