so after 2 years of trapsing around in a front driver i thought it was high time i got me a propper car to play with £400 lighter i have myself a fairly solid shell alot of goodies and some paintwork to rival the fiestas paintwork cool'ness the plan for the moment is get it road going 1300 x'flow powered but in the long run its my 1/4 mile car so ive decided instead of welding the wings up ill junk them and fiberglass em ;D  things went wrong from the beggining, car attempted to leave the trailer i also managed to roll it off the ruddy axel stands removing the engine and ive also shattered a cutting disk AGAINST my hand   i do love my old fords  gotta love an anglebox   type 3 box came with it (better ratios and synchro on all gears)  cortina struts including unused calipers also came with it (bearing in mind, standard an anglia has drum brakes front and rear)  i do loves taking things apart so far ive removed all the running gear given most of it a clean down and lick of hammerite also fixed and beffed up the gearbox cradle bought myself a 1300 x'flow got some slicks reserved  give me some paint ideas its staying as is for the time being though ;D |

spot on mate,,,sold mine bout 12ish months ago,,,,had lots of plans for it but only got round to lowering it and lotus steels,,it was a bit to nice to mess with realy,,,  make sure you keep yours mate,biggest mistake i ever made selling mine,,,,keep the pics coming  |

Great to see you got this thought you were Fiesta mad thank goodness theyare not that good. this could be very very cool! why not go for 1600x flow? it is for the road too i take it? Look forward to seeing how it all goes top purchase, one day i'll have a propper old skool Ford LOLz! |

not alot done after i managed to shatter a cutting disk.......against my hand fracturing a bone or 2 in the process i have rebuilt the axel and bought myself a complete 1300 for the grand sum of 5 squid!!! i needs front bowl sump though   bosch dizzy slots straigh in   still not decided which to use  17mm and a mallet later  |

Looks pretty good Sam. Is it a weldathon job or not?? Go for the twin-choke too, be rude not to. Also plan ahead for the 1700 Get a nice big rad & front mounted fans gussets brace mounts etc in there now while it's in pieces & unpainted. |

the front end will have fiberglass wings and bonnet, it will have poly windows fiberglass boot originally i wanted a 2.1 pinto but apparently this craps on the handling and after RR07 i want it todo corners |

wow this took some finding  anyway progress reports...  there i was with my blowtorch burning the sound deadening curse word off the inside and i realised it was causing the paint to bubble onthe outside bu66er  so i thought bare metal the whole thing cant be that hard can it and ill know exactly where i stand  got the window out without going bang  rubberzzzzzzz |
