Not so retro, but older than my white Felicia. I recently bought this little car on Friday, from a lad in Bognor Regis who was selling the car as it belonged to his Grandfather who recently passed away. Its a 1994 Favorit Silverline edition, came with MOT til August 2008 and Tax til April 2008 so I don't have to worry too much about those for a while! 48k on the clock & one owner from new... The car even had a 'new car' smell inside, the back windows have never been put down, the rear lapbelt was never unravelled from the clip, and nothing has ever been stored in the boot... it was immaculate. Anyway, all I did was put my wheels on it and suspension as the shocks were in a bit of a bad way, and the tyres weren't too good either. Some pics: (ignore the faded lower half of the bumpers, as I plan to spray those to match the car later in the week, i've used back to black on the top half of the bumpers to restore them) I know it won't be to some people's liking but I like it

Thanks, one small patch of surface rust on the passenger door. But i'm going to book it into the local Dent Magician down here in Sussex to get it sorted properly I'm very pleased with it.

those are aftermarket, they are smiths racing alloys 15". originally came from Kenton (czechered flag). some people don't like them but they had great tyres on as I only got the new tyres on mine the end of last year, so I thought it best to use them. Thanks

Hey, that looks really smart! I've one of these tucked up for a rainy day. Ought to crack on with it. What's the suspension spec and what's it like in terms of ride / handling?

Hi Mike, thats looking good mate, i think the wheels look ok, but it would look better slammed on a set of wide steels.

Thanks for the comments guys, and hi Kenton!
As per question, the handling has improved drastically. I had this kit on my Felicia, they are HP Sporting adjustable shocks with springs. You can get them from Butts of Bawtry but they are quite a bit of money, I actually bought them new from ebay for considerably less. The handling on the Felicia changed completely and the car stuck to the road like... well you know!
The same goes for the Favorit, before It used to suffer badly from over and understeer at the slowest of speeds really but since changing the wheels and suspension again it sticks to the road and handles exellently.
At the moment I believe its lowered around 40/45mm all around.
