the original plan was to paint the rims red (bodycolour) and do the fans black, but they're in pretty much 'as new' condition so seems a shme to mess with them.
i might have a play when the other wheels are back on in the summer if i get bored one weekend.
infact, they look pretty cool without the fan section too, a nice slender 5-spoke with a decent bit of dish. may also see if it's possible to space the fans out from the wheel a little so they sit slightly proud of the rim like the old school touring and rally cars
