Fulda ZE-501, £23 a corner, delivered from Germany, from MyTyres.co.uk.
Seems their prices change all the time, I just looked and they only have these Fuldas, and at £29 each, when I chose mine, they had about 6 different manufacturers to choose from?
Since the rear is transverse leaf, I need to get it decambered, or just remove it and leave the rear on bumpstops?

Hi You can lower them a couple of inches by extending the mounting bolts, It`s hard to explain but if you google "fiat 128 lowering" You should be able to find it Cheers Adrian
Just something i googled Lowering the rear of a 128 is easy, because of the ingenious nature of the transverse leaf-spring design. It's a simple matter of spacing the lower A-arm away from the spring perch. The most common method for doing this is to remove the stock mounting bolts, and replace them with longer (upwards of 3-inches in length) bolts that can accept a sleeve-type spacer. The thickness of the spacer determines the amount of lowering. Without too much trouble, this spacer can be swapped, providing for quick rear ride height changes.

VIP,
turbo it and go round Mallory at RR '08.
That would possibly be one of the best things ever.

Cripes, this is an interesting project!
Good to see some time being spent on these puppies. Was there ever a Yugo race team?

I'll be looking at that. I do have my eye on some truck bumpstops, big flat rubber affairs, may work well a spacer!

Hello, what's this? A parcel? For me? From Serbia? Mmm, lots of Yugo goodies I've ordered from a Yugo Owners Club member... I've got a lot more than I actually asked for! I ordered: Rear red/clear lenses Clear side repeaters Front clear lenses Pair of window winders Spare fuel pump crystal headlights (I know they dip the wrong way!) I got a load of bonus items though: Pair of genuine Yugo mudflaps Extra window winder One internal door handle Numerous new badges a peach air freshener (?) and some cool original Yugo brochures! Tried out the new clear lenses.. Rear Sides Front Not bad, if I do say so! Here's a few pics of the car so far...

Looks like its coming together nicely Fiat fire/turbo power by RR08?? Here's hoping! Really want to find a crashed/too rusty to repair Uno Turbo for not silly money, so I can rob the engine, box, ECU, front struts etc.

What colour is it? I have a grey or black one you can have for postage monies! The owners club is in Serbia, the website forum is www.yugofanclub.com but most posts are in Serbo-Croatian, so don't expect to learn much! lol

Well, seeing as no-one wanted to buy it, I've decided to run it around til the tax runs out and then scrap it. So, I don't need to worry about getting through an MOT again, therefore I can lower the rear traveller way. Ripped out the rear leaf, and stuck some DAF bumperstops between the rear arms and stock bumpstops to keep the rake level. Got some nice rear camber too, now handles like a go-kart!

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum
