Cheers, Its returning slowly Sharing Barn and House with Phoenixescort certainly helps with Motivation ;D He`d give Nightmares or Racer86 a run for their money in speed of work ;D So you could say I`ve been shamed into doing something on it ;D

Oh and a little look at Garys OCD - you cant even see this section as its all covered by a false floor/pedalbox arrangement Ok you can't see it, but you (and Gary obviously) know it's done properly and neatly. How many people would have just jammed a couple of bits of angle iron under there cos, well, you can't see it, can you?! Glad to see mojo returning, keep the updates coming!

Mechanic's rule #1... If the car works, anything left on the floor after you finished wasn't needed in the first place

Well look what Andy and I chucked in the back of the van last night We saw it at work when borrowing the trailer to Move the Escort Andy made some enquiries and the answer was if you can transport it then you can take it away Looked like it had no Cross slide and no Chuck, but when we went to load it up they were all in the tool cupboard ;D ;D Cant beat Free Machine tools ;D More of last nights efforts pics to follow..... Big thanks to Andy (Phoenixescort) again ;D

Well after fitting the seat in the car and sitting in it..... My nice new pedal arrangement doesnt work even with my Short Legs So we looked at it for a while, (II swore a lot ) tried a few different Ideas and came up with some possible solutions and some very trick solutions and then left it alone and carried on Stripping All in all with painting the barn, winning a Lathe, Getting Andys escort transported, Kadett engine out and bay stripped, its been a rather productive couple of weeks all in ;D Big thanks to Andy and another shout out to Charlatan1 who is lending me back the pedalbox I sold him to see if I can make that solution work with the curent floor arrangement ;D Watch this space ;D

Just a random thought - how easy do you think it would be to replace the front top mounts with something 'proper' (ie adjustable...Like the Escort fanboys get ). *n
