i made some custom wide track bottom arms and adjustable tie bars for track day nova they worked a treat! And as you say opened up a whole world of geometry adjustment Do you have any examples of the set up you plan on running?

No examples as I havent schemed it up yet.... But it`ll run bushes rather than rod ends for some compliance. Tubular lwr wishbone with damper mounting Passing up through tubular upper wishbone too Lwr one will be cranked to clear wheel on full lock similar to standard. Nova ones are neat

loving the work thats going in to this, and all for a humble fiesta engine too ;D just one thing tho, and thats the elise front calipers. on the elise, the front 2pot ally calipers don't do a great deal of the stopping, the backs do. so you may find them a little lacking on the front of a front engined motor otherwise, as you were

It should be fine, those calipers are well up to stopping this, and I have mk4 golf rear calipers on discs. It's all actuated by a bias pedal box so I don't think I'll have a problem getting the balance right.

Just had a bit of a result....... Saw a concentric hydraulic clutch release brg on eBay at lunchtime with no bids on it, brand new. Put a sensible bid on it just in case Won it for 99p Now just need to make a spacer plate or a new front seal plate for the type 9 to suit and make some hoses with a dry break coupling on one and a remote bleed screw on the other ! Another bit off the list

Those extensions look nice! Are they available from anywere? Yep, what do you need ? We Have all different set ups, to suit different ITB sets, some round, some oval, some std Bore, some Tapered. And then a variety of ram pipes to suit in different lengths For instance, on this Sigma Set, I had a choice of 38-40mm extensions or 38-42mm, in lengths from 45mm right up to 130mm. Ram pipes 40mm high or 60mm high ;D I`ve gone 38-42x 130mm extensions with 40mm ram pipes for now, but I may go 60mm ram pipes if needed as the sigmas seem to like some length to the intake Effectively they work out £35/cylinder for extension and Ram pipe for std sizes (70 /100/ 130 extensions - 40 / 60 ram pipes) They wont fit Jenveys / Webers / etc though but if you were doing a custom manifold they are Ideal ;D They are really clever as the filter backplate is held between the 2 parts as well ;D

Quiet in here Maybe I should paint it matt black and fit a "roof rack'o'wibblepoo" ;D Well yesterday I had a visit from a Phil at Caged laser engineering, and he brought me up some new 38mm CDS Tube and some cage saddle brackets to weld on to the existing cage ;D So I can link the front turrets effectively all the way to the rear turrets. Not strictly needed yet but if the shell is prepped with them now then it just becomes a bolt on affair for the phase 2 suspension. I have 25L of 75% concentration phosphoric acid to collect on Friday for some De-Rusting action too Also got my Throttle Bodies back from the anodisers I`ll get some pics up later if any one is interested ? cheers Dom

Ah well if you insist They should look nice with everything else just in stainless Cheers for the kind words everyone, they are all that's kept me going at times on this build, seriously Doubt it'll be ready for Marham but I am determined to get some use out of it soon, hoping this weather holds and I can get the Blade sold to free up some cash and get it finished.
