'Lo Everyone, Finding this site, I feel like I've come home. Here's the £800 Ebay Merc that's currently blocking the bins in at our house ;D Dunno if it's staying yet (won't go in the garage  ) so still pretty much as bought but plenty of retro-tastic potential.   |

My missus wants a CE W123 badly. I've got a T and had an early 'C'. What's the condition on this like? Is it rotten for £800? Looks great. Never seen a coupe with a towbar before either.

No, not rotten at all and drives as smooth as... There's a couple of blobs here and there but nothing to speak of. It's done mega mileage (195k and counting) but still a smooth drive and a great M-Way cruiser. I put it through an MOT test without touching it and it failed on . . . 2 brake pipes and a suspension link bar. Cost about £20 in parts. I love a bargain!! If it stays with me, the tow bar will have to go though - although it's a useful parking aid - (joking... I'm joking!). Your missus doesn't want a green one does she?  |

All the credit goes to Mr Benz. They really are bargain basement class.
Mr Impala, sir... £750 or a swap for something "small garaged sized" will carry her off. Come and have a look/ drive anytime.
