My new toy, which I picked up at the weekend in Bedford...managed the 400 miles to Stranraer without missing a beat! She's a 1987 4/4, with the 1600 CVH engine...the previous owner had it rebuilt 5,000 miles ago with a unleaded head, Stage 2 upgrade, K&N, stainless mainifold and sports exhaust. Given the lack of weight (this car has an all alloy body...even the special order alloy bulkhead) she's nippy enough for me. Brakes are somewhat dead, so that shall be my priority!

Looks great.
No trouble with a rusty steel body then, but still need to look out for woodworm in the frame!

Yowser!!!
The firm I work for makes the front and rear wings for all Morgans (since 1997) as well as the radiator cowl and most of the panels for the Aero 8 (and shortly the new Aeromax as well). If you know anyone with a post-2002 Morgan, chances are I delivered the body panels for it! ;D
The cool bit is getting to visit the factory three times a week!!!
Welcome to Retro-Rides!

I like the lines and look of Morgans, and would love to have one, just to the memory of my late dad, who always used to talk about wanting to own one, ever since he test drove one many years ago.
Nice car.

No trouble with a rusty steel body then, but still need to look out for woodworm in the frame! Thankfully @87 was the first year of the treated frames, plus this one had the body off in 2001 and the frame repaired where necessary and all retreated!
