Here's my Driver. I bought this for £500 to basically just tide me over in the worse of the winters months when I couldn't ride my motorbike.
I've been a VW nut for years so find it hard to resist a bit of tinkering.
Here's the starting point. Tidy condition, 2 owners from new 95K miles, last owner had it for 14 years.
Heres the look I like...
Anyway the plan started to fall apart once I found a Weber carb on ebay... so far it's had the carb, gti camshaft, gas shocks and a big drop all round. I've replaced a few bits of trim and done the cambelt and rear wheel bearings. I now have a single light grill, black badge and Crystal headlights fitted. More pics to follow....
