I've posted pics of it here before when it was red/white, it was built in 1957 but spent the first 14 years of its life in Australia with a British diplomat before being repatriated here in 1971, hence the K-plate.
As Hawks go it's pretty rare being one of the early ones with the Borg-Warner DG-series Heather Mills-matic box.
And yeah....the previous owner did the 'Me and My Classics' feature in this month's Practical Classics mag.
Future plans involve something under the bonnet with twice as many cylinders in a V-shape. It goes lower when it's got six or seven of us drunkenly cavorting around the Midlands in it, with some Eddie Cochran/Link Wray/Dynotones blasting out.
