I really like NA FC RX-7s. I had a fang in a mates when I had my stock-ish 1982 RX-7 and it felt very similar in performance but with the added bonuses of, you know, suspension that was designed with some thought behind it. Keep in mind: Exhausts in RX-7s get HOT! Even in normal running. Get something that won't be ruined. Head over to Racing Beat and see what they recommend (and then get it fabbed up by your mate as it will be cheaper than RB stuff! www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda2.htmFC RX-7s have Japanese standard 5-stud PCD and offset: 5x114.3. Here is Oz, coz we get all sorts of things off the boat from J-land, wheels are easy. Dunno what sort of choice you all will have. 5-spoke rims look cool on FCs.

LOL was waiting for someone to question the mini New design I'm working on... If it is no-where near the ground, it shouldn't rust ;D Right? Nah, I'm repairing the brakes and its on axel stands. Looks cool though ;D

The new exhaust is on ;D Not a great picture, I will get another one when I have a decent camera. The whole exhaust system has been changed as the manifold and rest of the system was shot. De-catted too On the way to the MOT station someone pulled my mate over saying the car was on fire It was just the flames popping out as he changed gear ;D Speaking of MOT, just had to stick a few bulbs in and it passed ;D But... I went round to my mates garage to pick it up tonight and it won't start He moved it so he could put all the cars away and it flooded. Took the plugs out to un-flood it, and after an hour of tinkering it still wouldn't start. Going back tomorrow if his fixed it.

I worked for Mazda for a while we were always having problems with them not starting after a service etc. So what we used to do was tow them up the road at 30mph then put it in 4th and bump start them worked fine after that its something to do with losing compression and the starter wont turn it fast enough to build it up Nice car btw always like RX7s since I was a trainee

The idea of a screaming n/a wankel appeal to me more and more every day. Which I had money and space and time and etc etc etc.
Nice to see a RR-RR go on to another RR user!

Hi, I've got an NA rx-7 almost exactly the same as this one (same age, same colour) - i'll get round to doing a readers rides post at some point. I'm desparatly searching for a stainless steel exhaust system to replace my rusty old carbon steel one, where did you get yours from??

Hey Mikeyboy. I had my one custom made by a mate. No chance was I paying the £400+ that some of the specialists wanted for the system, and not including fitting Brought the backboxes off eBay, he made up the pipework and fitted it all together. Best bet is to get a custom one made
