Jeepers! That's nice, looks super straight, I like the colour too! Whats up with the grille though? Looks dandy to me?

The earlier ones had a silver outer bit and plastic black slats in the middle - the whole silver look of it just looks naff to me.

I thought low spec (E, Deluxe, Base) had the all silver grille and the SL, GLS etc (high spec) had the 2-piece black/silver item?
So you could either find a 2 piece off a high spec model or paint your current one..?
Anywho; good car nice project, hope it goes well. Keep us posted.

Well i've bought the v8 that'll be going into the beastie. Spoke to paul at coltech down here in bournemouth and we've agreed on the way the car is going - proper gasser, with the correct front axle and so on.

The engine i've found is 500cu in's of cadillac's finest. A couple of friends who race in super street (if that's what it's still called) and they've said the engines are good lumps with a lot of parts availability. i'll find that out soon enough. Next step is to get it into pauls workshop so the work can crack on, really want to be flinging myself down santa pod in it before the year's out.

On a sidenote if anyone knows of suppliers of tuning parts for this engine feel free to pipe up as it'll be needing a bit of a rebuild before it goes in.

Hmm looks like they went the way of the barry with the carp they're selling on there.

Easiest thing is to probably get a copy of rod and custom (any excuse) and flick through the traders section.

Doubt it, expecting one of those revvy, gutless, J econo-engines.

Thatd be great if u could dude.

Gonna have to put a sheadload of strength into the shell to carry that motor they weigh a ton and the torque is immense.
