 1979 Datsun 280c (330)(cokebottle) 2753cc staight 6 single carb, auto.  1980 Honda Accord 1602cc 5 speed! manual, single carb , 4 cyl Bought both of these off ebay, both mot'd and taxed, Mk1 Accord is unbelievably mint, Datty requires some resto work, got 5 speed box and some rims planned,possible respray few little bits missing off the Datsun(which the seller forgot to mention, and said he would send the parts on, but hasnt and hasnt replied to numerous emails)annoying to say the least. Anyways thought I would post my motors on here. |

What a contrast.
Datsun Rocco Luxo Vs Honda's almost Germanic simplicity.
A friend has a Copper JDM Datsun 280Cedric 4d Hardtop the same age. Very stylish, comletely over-the-top.

Lets just say it cost me under 1K which i think was a bargain as its absolutely mint never seen a welder in its 27 years of life, and no rust at all. Like it so much that i treated it to a manifold back stainless exhaust yesterday!
