Oh yeh..... nothing makes me happier than seeing a Mk1 or Mk2 Corty still on the road. Will be interested to see some progress made on this little one. A fine example too, just requiring a bit of personalising by the look. I hope you don't paint it satin black. I mean....... do whatever makes you happy, but I hope it's not satin black Only cos it's so over-done...... maybe a diff flat colour to stand out. A flat kinda oxide red perhaps?

Looks like there's going to be a change of plan on the wheels as the adapters cost to much plus it will push the wheels out to far So i have decided to find some revolutons ether 4 spoke or RFX's

I spent some where in the region of £250 to £300 today on the parts for a total brake overhaul . I have had the front Callipers rebuilt then i bought new disksand pads plus Goodridge hoses and new rear cylinders and shoes to. I'm also planning to replace all the brake lines to this weekend weather permitting I will post pics of the work i have done afterwards

have you already bought your brake pipes ? When i replaced all the ones on my kadett i bought a ready made kit from Automec - cost about 50quid which compared to a roll of pipe is obviously a lot dearer but they're made up with all the fittings on them - absolute doddle to fit . Actually made changing them an enjoyable job... www.automec.co.uk/frame_set.html

Nice one.....leave the colour as it is...in my humble opinion it´s one of the best colours for the Tina!!
...and you can never go wrong by slamming it a bit!
