Another low mileage Audi joins the fold! 1982 Audi 80 CD 5S! Oh yes! that 5 pot engine just purrrs! and it has amassed a mahoosive 28,000 miles from new! Interior is lush! Exterior has a couple of scrapes, the rest is like new! Period pioneer stereo and blaupunkt speakers and the old fella left the plate on it! How nice of him!! a full detail will commence next week! watch this space for more pics or check out www.classic-audi.co.uk ;D

Oh man, superb! There's so much about this picture that i love!! That colour is brilliant, the biggest rear headrest the world has ever seen!, the exhaust looks like its used to wind the car up!! The front valance is key looking, is that standard? I have no photoshop on this computer or i would be virtually slammin the bejaysus out of it.....best of luck with it

Everything on it is completely standard! I've thought about taking out the rear seats and putting them in the front roomas they'd make a well comfy sofa!!! they don't even look like they've been sat on! Hopefully, I'll get some better pics up over the weekend! I love the things like it has central locking and really deep plush carpets which are better than the ones in our house!!

Nice is it an auto or manual? I had an 80 Sport a while back and that was pretty basic, the CDs have a bit of class about em that I like It's a 5 spd manual! Spent 7 hours giving her a full detail today! She now looks like this!!

You know Coxy, when I look at my sorry excuse for an 80, and then at what you get up to in 7 hours, I suspect that in spite of my 80 looking way off course compared to your cars, and this latest 5S , there must some hope for her, in the hands of someone capable as you.
Credit to you again on reviving this latest car.

Fantastic! Looking brilliant Coxy, how much would 7 hours of your time cost me and where abouts are you? We're based in the Midlands. Most of what we do is BMW's, Porka's, new Audi's and other boring stuff that leaves me cold. Our normal charge is ÂŁ200 per detail up to 10 hours labour, but I do special rates for special cars that I actually like doing!! This includes a proper wash (using the 2 bucket method), then the paint is clayed to remove all bonded contaminants, then a full machine polish, deswirl and we remove the majority of scratches and etching. The the paint get's a sealant glaze (where appropriate) and then we layer up the wax. We like to have the car over night if possible as I like to add a 2nd layer of wax in the morning!! It does completely transform your car! It can make a bonnet go from looking like this: to this:

Thats most interesting, I have a 5-cylinder Audi that would benefit greatly from this sort of treatment.

Thats most interesting, I have a 5-cylinder Audi that would benefit greatly from this sort of treatment. more than happy to do it! It would totally transform the car especially if it's that 200 Turbo you've got!! Shame it's not an early quad lamp model else we'd have been talking cash!!!!! why not pop over to www.classic-audi.co.uk and say hello! ;D

Damn you for being in the Midlands I may have to find a friend to stay with somewhere near by or something Problem is.... It'd get dirty when I drive it home again!! Haha! Seriously, I don't have the patience to do that sort of work myself, so when the cars looking good and going again, I may have to pay a visit Once again... ace work sir, looking' brilliant!

Hey, I forgot to say, this Audi of yours is a total honey, I bet it is wonderful to drive. Love it. If it had PAS, it would be like a new car!! It is fantastic to drive and pulls away nicely with the modern traffic! Gonna get a bit of use out of it over the next few month before I minor resto in October (lowering, new rims and sort out the scrape on the near side rear wing!)
