Well after getting the Skoda Felicia, and running it for a few weeks I decided I wanted something bigger for my 120 mile commute every day ! So in a state of shear bloody mindedness............................. I got another volvo ! Its an E/88 reg 760 2.4TD auto. The six cylinder jobby, and blow me does it shift when the turbo kicks in !! Almost a full test and a bit of tax & full service history with 'only' 155K on the clock, too good to turn down..... Plans are a good service & to tidy the body up, satin paint ( dark blue ) a mild drop and ovlov Polaris rimZ. So the felicia will be in the for sale section soon as well. Any inspirational photos are welcome along with any potatoechops ;D

Don't they have an Audi/VW engine in them? What do polaris rims look like? Polaris rimz can be found here >>> forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=72501 Along with nearly every alloy volvo produced !! And yes according to volvoclub its the vw/audi diesel block. Once I get it back to a decent base, then the tweaking can begin. ;D

Sounds like a right tool, clever move IMO, reasonable MPG?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Bigger intercooler, wind up of boost, leave the opposition in a smoke screen ;D Intercooler from USA ( they have loads for the petrol version ) Manual Boost controller ( Egay under £15 ! ) And thats just for the weekend sir ;D I can't take it too extreme though as my commute is 120m a day but just enough to scare all the euro-box drivers on the M40/A34 in the mornings
