	Some pics of my cars. Firstly, I have an Oz built 67 Beetle in Rat Look, 4" Narrowed beam, 57 interior, standard 1300, original 121000 miles. OG paint, very faded and as many accessories as possible. And my recently acquired 55 Oval. This is a car that has been in a paddock for 10 years so the pan is quite rusty but the body is essentially sound. Unsure of what I want the end product to look like, we'll see how we go.

	Two great cars.... love all your period accessories. The 55 however, seems the perfect place to start a resto project, when the end result can be so very different to the car you have now. Nice post, thanks.

	Nice rack! Is there much of a following for the 'rat look with accessories' down here in South Oz? I haven't been to many shows lately, wasn't sure if it had caught on.

No, not many doing the rat thing so it's still relatively fresh, but I'm sure that more will pop up for the next season. The oval won't be a ratter, it'll be a 'period' style modded dub with a less is more approach.

	No, definately not another rat. Think Cal Look with a twist, but needs a lot of remedial work to the pan etc. before any cosmetics/performance can be done.

	I'm not much of an air cooled VW fan to be honest dude, and I know next to nothing about them, but there is something so pretty about the oval beetles. Good luck with it all buddy!

	I've got a photo of that Vette in the background of the first shot smashed into the side of a Holden Gemini. Oh but hey....... that oval is super cool. get on it fella. Get it ready for some summer cruisin !!!!!!!!!!
