Today's work is wiring and wrapping the loom ready for the engine so I started buy re wrapping the rear loom-  From which I removed some stuff I won't need -  Which I've fitted In the car. The. I've made a good start or the front loom-  [/URL
Which meant my pile of wire I won't use rose to this-
 I now need to order a few dash tell lights and some switches to replace the dash pod ones then I can get the engine in and get it started ( first time in a while) |

Hat off to you dude, this was impressive when blue! Truely epic now. Are you bike engineing it? All the ventilation and induction scoops in the back window must mean you intend to go that way! This looks like a grade a bit of kit you building. Good luck with the finish.

Thanks for the kind comments, the bike engine route isnt the way I want to go, once its all painted and running I intend on beefing up the transmission (brakes and suspension are now much improved over standard) then once Ive made some other mods I want to supercharge the standard engine, the scoops are really there because ive removed the standard air intakes on the body, but a rear engined car cant really have enough airflow... and its time for an update- alan came out of the garage for the first time in a few years-  and was promptly placed on a low loader ready to go to the bodyshop to be prepped and painted- I even had some progress pictures sent to me the next day!   hopefully more will be done soon! |

still loving this car.....Itś a dream in the flesh for me. Going to be blue again?
love to see a supercharger , never been done by my knowledge. Are there small enough S.C. available ?
What kind of beefing up have you planned for the gearbox? Gearbox of the Bis is pretty tough , could use a 5th gear tho...
They drive them with uno fire engines...

so this appeared on ebay- after I won it i realised it was on the other side of the country and it was pick up only- thankfully the seller has packaged it and its being picked up on saturday (lucky! :$)  all i need is some coilovers now but it will beat the daylights out of the transverse leaf spring its currently sporting.... |

missed your update due to work. going to be awesome when finished.
Only when you know these cars very well you see the amount of work in the detail you've put in.
Please DO NOT pick up pace , i want this to be my favorite build for a couple of more years to come....
