Why have a Civic saloon and a Ballade? It's beyond all reason. Which is why it's so much fun, of course. I think Honda had two different dealer chains, as Accord was available in two flavours. However (looking at the Archive 80's book) the differences look quite far-reaching so I wonder if it's more than a reshell? Nice purchase Jammzr! i think they're great cars, and I enjoyed the red HL we had a few years ago. Saw a couple in the Midlands today.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

A bit of an update, thanks to my trusty angle grinder and a tin of Hammerite Satin black paint I have given it some slammage and made the wheels look better until I can get some decent rims for it. I had to lose the rear mudflaps as I couldn't reverse it onto my wheel ramps to get the suspension arm bolts tourqed up properly. I am now considering losing the towbar too as I doubt I will ever do any towing with it. I now need a new drivers side wing mirror as a previous owner must have broken it and then superglued it back together and this "repair" has finally given up the ghost. I have also removed the pinstripes and I won a passenger side rear light cluster of E-bay for 99p which has been changed (the indicator lens was cracked when I got it) and the guy who was local gave me some other random acclaim bits ;D

Looking good dude, wing mirror dismantling itself is just the acclaim telling you that it wants some wing mounted jdm mirrors on it Reckon you should remove the front mudflaps too, that way you'll be able to get another coil and a half off all round. Remember...... If it ain't scrapin it aint low enuff! ;D
