hello, the Passat is great... obviously your girlfriend has a good taste (in cars ;D ) , what wheels are you using on the Passat ? They look like some Renault steels ? And how many clutchcables do you need ? They are still available in germany...

hello, the Passat is great... obviously your girlfriend has a good taste (in cars ;D ) , what wheels are you using on the Passat ? They look like some Renault steels ? And how many clutchcables do you need ? They are still available in germany... you are impressive! the wheels are well from a renault, a megane 2 truly! i will put it some old PLS in 7,5x13" for the front and 9x13" for the rear!3 parts wheels with the center in red! i had to post photos of the wheels i have, i collect the more i can of old wheels and large wheels! are you sure that in germany they ever sell the cable i need?i hope so, mine is for the 1272cc engine, it mesaures 111cms if i remember well... all the other clutch cables are availables but not mine! i think i will swap the engine because mine is dead, i hopt to find a 5cylinders, if now i will put a 1300 or a 1600...so if you have the time to go to a vw dealer, don't hesitate, ask me more informations if you need, tell me the price by PM and it will be OK, for the moment i have one that i bought in east europe but not OEM part so low quality...it doesn't work well... Hi! Welcome to the forum,.. The Passat looks like a great hoodride,.. the 406 looks really nicely done as well. Which part of France are you from?? thank you for the comment! i love the passat but not the time for it for the moment and it is 250kms far from me because of the difficulty to find somewhere to work here! the 406 was a cool daily driver but i need a station wagon so i had to sell it! i wanted it to look like a sort of Nascar, low, dirty and steel wheels... And i am from west of France, near to brittany about 300 kms west of Paris... Wow !the passat looks pimping. what are the wheels off ? Also loved the 406, it looked very "taxi" as in the car from the film !! I'll be interested to see what you get for your next daily !! thank you too! the volvo is my daily for the moment, i will certainly lower it a little, perhaps an air ride, i don't know for the moment...if no i will buy the nivomat system from Volvo, with just the movement of the car when ride, the rear even carried ,is still, at the same height! because i hate the cars with the rear lower than the front... i certainly will turn it into a US model and put diamond racing wheels(official nascar wheels!) or american car wheels(cadillac or chevy) in 16" and larges if possible!!!! for my city daily i want it low and glued to the street! with a little punchy engine and larges wheels!and i want it not common.I think i will see when i will have it, inspiration comes with the model!for the moment i am happy with the volvo but i need a little punchy car too! i will let you know!and i love the forum, exactly my way of thinking!you are not into an only brand but ever about non common cars, and so often with low cars!!!!! i love! thanks for the comments all other!!!! bye (sorry for my english, it should not be great...)

Some good photos there and very interesting cars. The 406 is especially cool, simply because its different and very simple! thank you for the pictures! i try my best to do good ones, i do all when i take it, i mean that there is no post processing, except the border and my nick. i wanted the 406 different and simple, if someone understand that, that is just i need! i dislike tuning but i dislike stock cars especially their heights! Cool motors, Shame about the Volvo being vandalised I've got a red 760 turbo wagon but that Graphite is lovely BTW what size are the renualt wheels on the Passat? i am ashamed with the Volvo vandalised but now it is in a private car park with an antitheft rod, i hope it will be enough! your red 760 is in a post of the forum? when i began to look for a station wagon volvo i was looking for a red 850 or a red 740 but the 850 was not RWD and no diesel 6cyl so i turned to a 740 and i can't find what i expected.a good occasion comes to me with this 940, i paid it 2500euros, and it is worth 4000euros, i just have to change the clutch and the timing belt because i don't have bills so i don't know when they have been replaced the last time... so (without the theft attempt) it will be a car paid 3000euros. the renault wheels are 6,5x15", it is the larger and simplier to find in 4x100. but now i feel them too big so i will certainly put the passat on 13" or 14" to be even more lower because i can't be more with the suspension. so i told you that i loved old wheels, this is what i have for the moment: -> PLS 413b -> Tramont 8x13" ->mercedes wheels, one is polished, the others not because i don't know when i will use them, in a few weeks i will receive other old PLS' in 13" with parts to be able to have 4wheels in 9" large and 4 in 7,5"... some more picture of the passat: yesterday evening i look a lot of posts in the forum and i saw o lot of little '80s cars that they gave me envy!!!! especially the old starlet and micra, but i still love the metro, even more afetr reading the 32 pages of the slater's post! it is a picture of it given by a friend that all start! i will see that i will find in France with a budget not more of 500euros! but i hope to buy it in july!!!!! thank you for the welcome and for the forum!!!! bye!

Heya mate, you've got some nice stuff there. I think possibly the only thing the 406 would have looked better with is if you'd taken the trim off and smoothed it, for the ultra simple smooth look.
Passat is cool, volvo needs a little work, there's a nice one near me (850 I think) thats been dropped, on black rims and tinted rear lights, and the few little touches go so well.
Most of all I like those dished wheels that you've just painted, what are they? (where can I get some? lol)

hello all! thank you for my english, it is one of my prefered class at school!lol! for the tramont, i buy them because it was a good deal on ebay, i don't even know if i will use them for the moment, i love more the PLS'!!! for needabettle, in fact i love stock style for cars, so i want the body to stay stock or with a few parts, US when it is possible, just a big lowering and large wheels.Cool interior too with good quality "ice" but invisible, that is what i want. for the wheels, the red i guess, are now totally raw, and they are PLS rims, look on ebay.fr there is some sometimes, but if in good condition it could be very expensive! the second set i post, the black, costs about 120euros and it is very cheap, often it is more about 400 or 600euros for good condition, i found the red in a scrapyard and paid them for its weight: 30euros...so happy! in france you can contact deltamics, they still made some PLS rims, but expensive! the halogen is cool, when i bought the car there were two halogens on the top of the bumper, but one was broken so i put off them and the one unbroken went under the bumper. For the first ride it has been broken...anyway, Hoodride stylz!!!! BUT!!! i still try to find some parts hardly! so i am looking for a front and rear bumpers in the best condition possible and a dash without cracks! The volvo need to be lowered, but i can't find coilover for it, i just found in the US some springs, that lower the car for about 1,3/4 inches not enough i think...so perhaps, really perhaps, i will install an airride...don't know for the moment, i don't enough money because of the rob attempt... i certainly will turn it into US model i told you earlier that i try to find a little gas daliy car, but with my finances i think i will use what i have, i forgot to say you that, a few months ago, someone gave me that: so i have GTI brakes and a -80/-60 mm brand new suspension and 14" GTI wheels so i think i will work on it for riding it very fast and be able to change the parts i really need on the volvo... i will let you know about the golf, it is less cool than a metro but about all for the moment it is less expensive! and i like golfs! this one is from my born year, 1985! bye and thank you again for all!

Hello! befor all, thank you! on the 406 images i use a digital camera with filters. the camera is the Canon EOS 300D(in france it is its name but somewhere else it is rebel XT and another name but can't remember) it is the canon digital camera of 3years ago. i use the Cokin filter system with a anti UV one and a yellow one. the website of cokin: www.cokin.com/(the camera on the homepage is the same of mine), i don't have filters references in mand just now but if you want... i use an old Canon from the 80s, an Holga and lomo fisheye too. do you take some pictures? bye!
