Went to se it yesterday. Slept on it and decided to make an offer which he has accepted Always wanted one of these since when I was kid a guy down my road had a red one complete with Starsky & Hutch stripe!! It's got an old Rover 3.5 V8 in it now but a good mate of mine is a bit of an expert on the Rover V8 engines so we are gonna source a SD1 version and tweak it to 300BHP Should be whole lotta fun!! So, your thoughts please guys. What do ya reckon??

depends mate, what stud is it? (PCD) some deep dish slot mags maybe? And drop it slightly (not much, buta bit)...point being, it sits fine on the wheels, but when you look at the actual front and back it looks really high, quite odd! Lucky git

Looks mint, but I wouldn't describe it as such. Very presentable, very good, but it's an old resto so does need some fettling, maybe even a repaint next year

Car is gorgeous, lovin the colour. A bit of a black stripe and some savoury wheels with fat rubber and you're done. Best of luck with it

Spotted this a few times on ebay.
Looks like a pretty decent TA22. Not feeling much love for the wheels, but that's easily sorted and will transform it with the right ones on each corner.
How have they got round the problem of the steering drag link sitting right through the middle of the RV8 sump? I fitted rack and pinion to mine in the end.
I'd love to see some pics of engine install if you get a chance. It's nice to see other peoples solutions to the problems I went through.
Not sure the T series diff will put up with 300hp for long though!
